Raise your steins and grab your pretzels — it’s the 40th year of Oktoberfest in Historic St. Charles! Every fall, Main Street and Frontier Park come alive with the sounds of oompah bands, the aroma of bratwurst and funnel cakes, and the cheers of friends old and new.
What started back in 1986 as a small community celebration has become one of Missouri’s favorite fall festivals — three days of music, dancing, contests, parades, and that one-of-a-kind Gemütlichkeit that makes everyone feel like family.
So dust off your lederhosen, bring the crew, and join us along the riverfront for a weekend filled with good food, great beer, and even better memories.

BRAT EATTING CONTEST
Think you can eat more German bratwursts than anyone else, or like to see humans push their stomachs to the limit? Join us in the Hofbrau tent, for the annual Kenrick’s Brat Eating Contest to see if you can take First in the ‘Wurst eating contest! The winner receives an assorted basket of Saint Charles Oktoberfest memorabilia!
STEIN HOISTING CONTESTS
Think you can hold a full liter stein longer than anyone else? The Raise the Stein competition is back! Test your strength, cheer on friends, or just enjoy a Samuel Adams Oktoberfest. Whether you win or drop out early to drink sooner—it’s all good fun. Prost!
WURST RACE EVER 5K/10K
Start your Sunday off right with the 15th Annual Saint Charles Oktoberfest 5K and 10K runs. All participants will receive a commemorative medal and themed shirt.
