Saint Charles Oktoberfest 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile Root Beer Fun Run

Start your Sunday off right with the Saint Charles Oktoberfest 10K, 5K, and 1 mile run. All participants will receive a commemorative medal and themed shirt. The 2017 Saint Charles Oktoberfest 10K/5K/1M run benefits the Disabled Athlete Sports Association (DASA)                                                                                                                                                                     

Start Times

  • 10K/5K – 8:30 am
  • 1 Mile – 8:45 am


Historic Saint Charles. The Start is on Riverside near Jefferson and the Finish is in the park near the Jaycee Stage.


All participants will receive a commemorative medal and themed shirt.  (Images of the themed shirt coming soon!)

Shirt sizes available: Child Small, Medium, Large, XL and Adult Small, Medium, Large, XL, 2XL.  Deadline to guarantee your T-shirt is September 1, 2017. T-shirts will only be available while supplies last.

Post Race

Water and A&W Root Beer is available at the finish line. Participants over 21 years of age will receive one FREE beer at the Bud Light Beer Zone after the race. There will be a ticket on your bib to redeem for your free beer. Race participants 21+ will also receive a free beer bracelet that allows them to drink at the festival.

Packet Pick-up

  • Packet pick-up is at Fleet Feet St. Charles located at 3813 Mexico Rd. Saint Charles, MO 63303
    • Friday September 28 – 4pm to 6pm
    • Saturday September 29 – 12pm to 4pm
  • The morning of the race, packet pick up/registration is in the field near the Jaycee Stage
    • Sunday September 30 – 7:30 am – 8:30 am


The fast flat course winds through the best of what St. Charles has to offer – historic Main Street, Frenchtown District, and even the scenic Katy Trail! All while ending in one of the biggest riverfront festivals in St. Charles – the Saint Charles Oktoberfest!


The awards ceremony will take place in the Bud Light Beer Zone Tent located at the north end of the park (near the finish line). 5K and 10K awards will be presented to (female and male) first, second and third place overall finishers. 5K and 10K first place female and male finishers will also be given awards in the following age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over. 5K and 10K Hand Cycle Division Awards will be presented (female and male) to first, second, and third place overall. All 10K, 5K, and 1M participants will receive a commemorative medal.
